Dental Implants, Artificial Teeth, the most Natural Solution for Missing Teeth

Dental implants come in different models according to the function of the teeth they are replacing. All models consist of a small titan screw, which is inserted in the jawbone to serve as an artificial root. The implant merges with the bone and form the base for one or more artificial teeth. For instance, a 3-part bridge can be attached to two implants.

This is one example of an implant and a crown.

This cross section illustrates how the implant is inserted into the gum.
